To introduce our students to the wonders of nature and provide an exciting learning experience, Nypunya School of Excellence organized a memorable field trip to Planet Earth for FY2 and FY3 students.
The day began with much enthusiasm as 100 children, accompanied by 21 adults, embarked on their adventure. Upon arrival, students explored the vibrant aquarium, which sparked curiosity and wonder. They admired intricate miniature art carved on pencil tips before moving on to observe reptiles and small mammals, including iguanas, snakes, and flying squirrels, in their serene enclosures.
A nature walk followed, where children encountered labeled trees, vegetable patches, and fascinating animals like emus and ostriches. An exotic animal show, featuring rare creatures and teacher volunteers handling them, added to the excitement.
The day also included a delightful picnic-style lunch provided by the school, playtime, and plenty of laughter, making it an unforgettable experience for everyone.
This enriching field trip offered our students a unique opportunity to step beyond the classroom, connect with nature, and ignite their sense of curiosity through hands-on exploration.
